Strengthening churches in central Arkansas since 2011

The Equipping Collective gives everyday Christians the knowledge, tools, and confidence to serve in their churches and make more disciples.

About the Equipping Collective

God empowers every follower of Christ to make disciples

God gives the Great Commission to the whole church. That means everyday Jesus-followers (not just pastors!) have the joy and responsibility to share the gospel with the whole world.

But if you’ve ever frozen up, stumbled, or wished you had a better answer when faith topics come up, you’re not alone. We’ve felt that way too.

That’s why we started the Equipping Collective.

Our mission

The Equipping Collective exists to strengthen and elevate discipleship in the local church by preparing men and women for the Great Commission.

We equip disciple-makers for every good work

Founded as Downline Little Rock in 2011, the Equipping Collective is an advanced discipleship ministry that gives everyday Jesus-followers the Bible knowledge and practical skills to confidently share their faith.

Go deep on your Bible knowledge

We bring in seminary professors, university faculty, and pastors from around Arkansas and the country so you can learn from experts. You can even earn seminary credit.

Be part of a greater disciple-making movement

We bring churches together from all around central Arkansas, so we can work together to tell more people about Jesus. When you’re part of the Equipping Collective, you’re part of a wider community.

Gain practical ministry skills, not just book knowledge

Your homework is usually to take what you learned each week and share it with someone else. We also use group discussions to help you reflect and reengage your relationship with Jesus.

Use your training to serve your church

Our vision is for God to transform Arkansas with the hope only Jesus gives—starting in our churches and homes. We train everyday people and send them back to their churches to make more disciples.

Our teachers

Our teachers are pastors, seminary professors, authors, and speakers from Arkansas and around the country.

What we believe

The Equipping Collective exists to strengthen the broader body of Christ. We welcome believers from a wide range of Bible-believing churches while teaching from a historic, conservative evangelical perspective.

While faithful Christians may differ on secondary matters, our teaching is rooted in the historic Christian faith and seeks to cultivate biblical conviction, spiritual maturity, and Christlike love.

  • The Bible

The Bible is God’s inspired, inerrant, and sufficient Word and our final authority for faith and practice.

  • God

There is one God, eternally existing as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

  • Sin and grace

Humanity was created in the image of God but fell into sin through Adam, leaving all people sinful, guilty before God, and in need of redemption.

  • Jesus

Jesus Christ is fully God and fully man, whose life, death, and resurrection provide the only hope of salvation. Salvation is by grace alone through faith alone in Christ alone.

  • The church

Every Christian is called to grow as a disciple of Jesus and to make disciples of others. The local church is God’s primary instrument for worship, discipleship, fellowship, and mission.

  • The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit actively empowers and transforms believers, always in harmony with the truth of Scripture.

  • Marriage and family

God created humanity as male and female, and we affirm the goodness of His design for marriage, the family, and complementarian leadership in the home and the church.

  • Jesus’ return

Christ will return bodily to judge the living and the dead and establish His everlasting kingdom.
